01 About this website
This policy covers gowooni.com, Gowoon Choi’s personal portfolio. It does not cover the separate apps or services featured in the portfolio.
02 Cookie-free visit statistics
This site uses only Cloudflare Web Analytics for visit statistics. The analytics service does not use cookies or track you across websites.
Cloudflare may process technical browser information and your IP address as part of handling requests and providing aggregate visit statistics. Its RUM service receives IP addresses during normal request handling and discards them at the nearest data center. Cloudflare’s explanation ↗
03 If you send an email
The portfolio does not ask for personal information, except for inquiries you send by email and the optional Play Room features described below. If you contact me, I receive your email address and the information you choose to include so I can respond. I do not sell or share that inquiry information.
There are no account registrations, payment forms or file uploads on this site.
04 Your sound settings
The site remembers your sound and volume preferences in your browser’s local storage. These preferences are not sent to me and are not used for analytics or advertising. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.
05 Play Room
Games at /game/ are free to enter without a key. Playing or posting creates a necessary anonymous browser cookie for 30 days to save scores and limit duplicate or abusive submissions. No email or account is required. The anonymous browser identifier is stored as a hash.
Initials and scores submitted by the game, and the initials, game, category, mood and text you choose to post, are stored with their submission time and shown publicly. Earlier private playtest records are not included in the public boards. Public submissions remain until removed. Please do not post real names or private information. To request removal, contact the email below with the submission details. Technical request information may also be processed by Cloudflare to deliver and protect the service.
